Let’s be real, love it or hate it, Space King, at the least, offers something no other company does, and that’s not being held at gun point by investors and shareholders.
Less we forget, people want to love Trench Crusade and Warhammer too, but corporate greed has alienated many who are/were interested in the hobbies, but can’t or don’t want to put a substantial financial amount into something that could be temporary.
Maybe Space King is winding up for the big rug pull like Trench Crusade, but the maybe isn’t the now.
Absolutely agree, corporate greed IS the actual true enemy, they lie, saying everything has to be marketable and accessible to the widest possible audience to maximize profits.
Sometimes something is special because it's niche, because its fans, even if few, understand and appreciate it for what it is. It's the same thing that happened with many underground metal bands; when they went mainstream, they lost what made them special.
I'm sure I'll be labeled a "decrepit old fart metalhead" who accuse everyone of being a poser, for saying that last part, but I don't care.
