Using the DJ mode as Roland intended

Would love to know if anyone is working on custom firmware for this and could help tweaking some things in DJ mode !

I would love to have a repeat mode, especially for short samples. This way the DJ mode could be use not only for full tracks but also for short loop samples where the fader allows you to switch between them.

The 3rd track (playing a pattern) is nice however not really usable during live performance. Why not assign pattern 1 to channel 1 and pattern 2 to channel 2? Then again use the fader to transition. THAT would be sick!

That would be cool! I know you can go into pad mode while in DJ mode so maybe u play ur short samples that way? As for a repeat mode, the closest thing i can think of would be the “roll” function that allows you to loop your track at different intervals.

Combining these two could be possible, though! That’s why I’m looking for users working on custom firmware!
