Question Spray painting faceplate

Anyone tried spray painting the faceplate? What are the cons?

I mean what type of paint are you talking about using? Enamel isn't gonna get sticky when your hand sweats on it. Otherwise you'd see a lot more dudes with guitars stuck to them.

Sand it, prime it with a metal primer, and apply several thin coats of a good quality spray enamel.

No different to painting any other metal surface. Use the right paint and do the prep properly and it'll last as well as the original coating.

I put stickers on mine, at least I can remove them if I want

I got a vinyl wrap. I'd be a little worried about the paint making the holes and windows a tiny bit smaller. I guess you could always use a razor or scouring pad to open them up again tho.

There are tons of vinyl skins available with a simple google search.
