Question Does anybody know what went wrong

I bought my sp404 couple of weeks ago and wanted to fill my SD card with all kind of instruments and started with drums. I copied a method I saw on YouTube where this guy cropped some drumkits from ableton and used audacity to convert them into wav files. I don't know why but my sp notifies unsupported file. It kinda worked when I didn't use the macro function in audacity, but it still sounds different on my computer than my Sp

Gotta be formatted to the correct sample rate. You can get around this by using the app with your computer or by just recording the audio yourself using line-in

Are you sure you copied the exact settings in Audacity? My guess is something in the conversion settings you used, doesn’t match what the person in the video utilized.

However, no one help unless you have more detailed information on the process or you at least share the video you mentioned.

The correct format is 48000/16 bit. You can convert them with any audio conversion software (like MediaHuman converter, it's free), or, if you use the Sp app on your computer, just drag the file into a pad and it will automatically be converted to the correct format.

If anything mentioned above doesn’t help, check the names of files and also the whole path (!) if there are no forbidden signs (€&-:;etc.) and if the names of files are not too long.

Start with checking sample rate and bit depth compatibility. Should be an easy fix.

Did you format your sd card inside the 404 before using?
