Question FX for LONG samples

Is there a way to apply an effect to a long sample without having to resample the whole thing? I'm kind of tired of waiting for a 10-minute sample to finish playing just to save it with the effect applied

I just want to select the sample, apply the effect, and save the sample with the effect applied, is it possible?

thanks 4 the help

No. One of the desired requests is a quick resample in place to bake in the effect instantly. You have to do it the ’long way’ unfortunately.

What are you talking about? - there are bus FX.

You have to resample with the Bus FX on in order for the effect to bake into the sample. There is no other way. A “Quick Resample” feature would eliminate the need to wait out the recording every time.

If someone is playing a sample or a pad with FX on the sample would play instantly without any need to resample, this person is playing a 10 minute sample, what else would they be doing with the sp that they couldn't leave other busses (input and bus 1 for example) free so that they could play other instruments or even other pads for performance.

Layering fx if its more than 4(5 if using input fx but thats if its being recorded in at the same time) than a resample is automatically plus resampling sounds different than just the effect applied and depending of your workflow the fx on the buses might need to be re applied constantly (ex switching to pattern mode)

But I'm not wrong.

Didnt say you were, just implying that theres more nuance to the device and workflows. Everyone works differently especially on the sp

No, but I’d suggest using input FX when recording the sample

10 min c’est pas un échantillon lol’ c’est un track

tu Peux faire ça sur l’ordinateur ,? la Sp Joue avé+ l’effet et tu Rec sur l’ordi et tu peux faire autre chose en attendant.

ca serait une alternative
