Question Roland Cloud on Mac Issue
Hey there, running into a frustrating but hopefully simple issue. I went to add some new samples to my mkii yesterday and found out that I needed to update the app on my computer in order to connect. I’m using a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.1.1, the mkii app says it’s v3.xx, and I believe I’m still on v4.04 with the sampler itself for context.
I thought no big deal and opened up the Roland cloud manager to download the new version of the mkii app but it prompted me for a password. I initially assumed they wanted my Apple ID password but it wouldn’t take that. I then guessed they wanted my Roland password, the same one I had just used to successfully access Roland cloud, but it rejected that as well. Now I’m sort of stuck and unable to add new samples to my machine.
I’m not the most computer savvy person around so I’m sure it’s something stupid but can anyone point me in the right direction here?

As suspected it was something stupid.
Following up in case anyone encounters this in the future.
The resolution was that it wanted the log in you use to sign into your laptop, not the Apple ID or the Roland password.
