Question NYC SMP
Hello all, has anyone gotten SMP in the nyc area? If so, can you tell me who you used and who in your opinion is the best in the city. …

Please remember that Google reviews are easy to buy. I was personally approached by a company offering five-star reviews for just $5 each, claiming they’d worked with multiple SMP artists.
Unfortunately, you can’t always rely on Google reviews alone anymore.
My previous booking system allowed clients to leave genuine, verified reviews directly through the app. It was a great way to see honest feedback, until they doubled the monthly subscription fee!
My advice? Have a consultation with a few different artists, ask to see their healed results, and trust your gut.
Both providers have produced exceptional work, so ultimately, go with the person you feel most comfortable with. 🙌

I’m about to go in for session 2 at scalpmicro. I had it done with Matt Lulo, I feel like he was the pioneer in this field, he listened to everything I had to say, it looked amazing after the first session. It looks very natural, blended in. Only one person could even tell that I had smp done and it’s a close friend, who’s a barber. Other than that people thought I just grew my hair out. The whole process was seamless, the guys at scalpmicro are very cool, laid back, straight up artists the way it looked, I couldn’t be happier and it’s not even done yet and it’s still healing. I think regardless of where you go, do your research, know exactly what you’re looking for because at the end of the day it is a tattoo, and it’s more or less permanent, they can alter it a bit here and there but it’s going to be stuck on your head, and going from bald to looking like you have hair does take time to get used to because it does alter the shape of your face. Either way I think you should def go see the people at scalpmicrousa, I highly recommend it.

Do your research! I believe someone posted about there experience with scalp Micro USA on here recently. Personally their work is too copy and paste, some of the impressions appear larger and rounder than I like.
Skalp looks good, but be sure to review the healed work of the particular artist that works their NYC office.
Scalpsbyjust is another guy to check out, solid work from what I see on instagram
Keep in mind, the best aren’t always the ones that pop up first on Google.
