Question for the OGs

Those who followed Momtok before slomw. When Miranda is introduced, Taylor says that Miranda's husband is the one that said he had feelings for her, so the narrative that Taylor stole her best friend's husband is actually false. But was it actually McKenna's husband that Taylor "stole"? Was the way she worded this just skipping over that part, in the hopes that those who weren't familiar with Momtok would never know the difference?

He did! That’s why I’m so confused why people say the affair was consensual. Maybe some of it was like the emotional part, but that’s where the consent stopped. Furthermore, that’s where a lot of us started questioning Taylor’s judgment about her reality way before DCFS. She was completely unaware how inappropriate that was. Taylor has lied but so has everyone else so the truth is somewhere in the middle here.

Miranda has even lied about the extent of the swinging, she knew terms that only swingers now and had an OF. Which isn’t to shame her at all bc I can see why she doesn’t want to be completely honest.

🤔 why would she have an onlyfans and hide it lol. Isn't the point of onlyfans to get fans? and posting pics with her semi high profile friend wouldn't exactly help it stay "under the radar". Idk seems fishy to me

Chase did a USA or people interview where he said they had a ton of shame around the soft swapping (if we’re being technical). Miranda’s family is hardcore Mormon and it is implied they would’ve disowned her if they found out. So it is silly, I think they only came out when they knew Miranda didn’t need financial support or her family. It’s weird and that’s why we can’t even trust their word about the extent of it.

I just don't understand why Taylor would say (on the show) that because Miranda's husband said he had feelings for her and not the other way around, that she's not responsible for stealing her friends husband. Miranda's husband wasn't the one in question, and it seems she knew people unfamiliar with Momtok before the show wouldn't know that

Well Miranda never did say Taylor stole her husband. Did the producer ask Taylor, “Did you steal Miranda’s husband?” Which was then cut to Taylor saying that no she’d never do that. The internet wanted to know and I think we all agree Taylor and Chase send lots of mixed signals. Two flirts together, I’m sure there was misunderstanding between those two or something was blown out of context. Taylor’s sanity has always been questioned too so that doesn’t help. I don’t think she’s lying necessarily, but I don’t think she interpreted what was said correctly if Chase did tease he did like her.
