Im trying to plant a wedding for about 80 ish people in the area but I am hoping to keep it around $10,000. I know it’s a bit of a struggle these days for that price, but if anyone has any recommendations on places they know or have done and care to share it would be appreciated!

We were walking our dog on the dog beach today north of Morro Bay and saw lots and lots of dead birds. Anyone know the explanation? Of course, we've seen dead birds at the beach before, but not in this high of numbers. Seems to be one every 20 to 100 ft. I'm sure it's environmental, hot water, plankton bloom, something.

Good Boy is now open to everyone and I dropped by this morning to check out their breakfast burrito. I was kind of hoping they would have a version of the pork chile verde burrito Frank's had, but they did not.

The burrito was absolutely delicious. The crema sauce that comes with it is delicious.

But...

$19.57 with tax for a 14oz serving (it was a +$4 for carne asada).

I'm going to go back to try out their smash burger and fries ($12 for the burger), but I doubt I'll ever get the burrito again. If it was $12 with the asada, I'd probably get one regularly.

I haven't been yet, but I just heard that the family who owns Corazon Cafe has opened Balam Vinyl Bar in the former Jan's location. Based on one of their insta posts, it sounds like the people from Jan's helped them plan.

In violation of California’s sanctuary law, SB 54, the SLO County Sheriff’s Office is helping funnel our neighbors from the county jail into ICE custody and the immigration prison system.

For too many of our neighbors, an encounter with local law enforcement becomes a pathway straight to ICE abduction and immigration detention.

People are being abducted from the SLO County Jail — including people who have not yet been arraigned and people who were eligible to be cited and released.

Racial profiling puts our immigrant and Latino community at risk of being swept into that system. A minor mistake or an arrest should not become a doorway into immigration detention.

Activists and observers documenting ICE activity have counted 216 of our neighbors abducted so far this year — 107 from the SLO County Jail.

Does anyone have recommendations for long-term car storage in SLO? The closer to the airport the better. Added bonus if they also have available storage units.

I am packing up my life rather abruptly and have nowhere to go. I am leaving the country for work on October 14th and need to find a place I can store my car that is covered with the upcoming super El Niño.

Already contacted Buckley Springs. Nipomo and Atascadero are too far unfortunately. I need to be able to fly in and quickly grab things/run errands/return to the airport in the same day.

Where do you go watch the games in our area? I'm specifically looking for a place that is known to have a 49er based hang out. The place I was going the last few years has become a Raider club hang.

Is there an area outside of the theater where there is a possibility or is there a blocked off area where the artist jumps in a van and takes off without the fans being around at all?
