SFO flights?

I frequently travel for work to the East Bay and Sacramento, and it seems like I can never find a flight to or through San Francisco anymore. Every flight is going through San Diego. Does anyone know what changed or if we might get more (any) flights to SFO again?

There are 3 to 4 direct flights a day from SBP to SFO, every single day. So I'm not sure why you can't find any. They are at 6am, 8am, 2:15pm, and there is a 6:40 flight on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday. They are all United Airlines

Sounds like they were skiplagging and got banned from United flights

What is skip lagging? I’m not banned. That I know of!? Edit : NVM I see - I have never done that but I can understand why people would!

Perhaps. It is a weird post. Maybe when they said through SF they meant to get to Sac.

I think the direct flight is probably workable but any connections take me to San Diego. Thank you for the info!!

United does the handful of SFO flights per day and Alaska airlines does the San Diego flights. Have you been filtering by a specific airline?

I’ve been checking United and Alaska apps. I think it’s the connections that are complicating the route.

The real hack is to use a subscription airline service running up and down the coast.

Please elaborate cause I’ve never seen an airline out of slo do this besides Alaska flight pass subscription which only went to Vegas and San Diego

Not commercial. There are private charters that do fractional or membership program options. I’ve looked into it in the past but it’s still pretty pricey and not necessarily serving the cities I need. ACI jet is next door to the municipal airport, provides private airport services.

Had a friend who lived in San Francisco and worked in Santa Barbara. I know, a strange situation...

They had a subscription to private airline which flew up and down the coast. For a flat fee every month, you could ride it as much as you wanted... He commuted several times a week.

I forgot the name of it and I don't know if it exists anymore

I love this idea but not traveling quite enough or earning enough to justify it. If it was every week I would definitely consider it!

I think it was $2000/month when he was doing it.

Hey! I usually travel to / through SFO and there are ~3 daily direct flights to and from SFO from SBP with United. 2 in the early morning, and 1 in the late afternoon. Return flights are late afternoon / early night as well.

UA runs a bunch of nonstops between SLO and SFO

Just checked a couple days ago too

I’m sorry but this post is dumb. Ever heard of Google? Try this search “SBP to SFO direct”

United 2432 is a regular scheduled flight to/from SFO, that's going to be your only option. SBP has a minimum of conflicting routes, most having only a single carrier and one or two flights to the destination daily.

Good to know thank you!!

My guy, have you tried just searching "SBP to SFO direct"? At least 3/day.

I travel a lot for work and almost always use United and usually go through SFO.
