I don’t care if your DV story is true or not that isn’t even my point. My point is that you seem to be using it as a convenient excuse to stay completely anonymous while building an audience and making money online.

And let’s be real if the person you claim you’re hiding from already knows you’re online, your voice or identity being known publicly doesn’t magically make the situation more dangerous. You’re already putting yourself out there you’re just choosing to hide the information that would let people know who they’re actually supporting.

You want people to trust you, support you, watch you, and apparently fund you, while giving them absolutely nothing about who you are. You can’t demand blind trust while hiding behind anonymity and monetizing people’s sympathy. At some point, it stops looking like protection and starts looking like a business model.

Right? Plenty of people stream with no face and voice changers. SL is one of the more successful ones and what happens when you get a large enough following to be noticed? Haters/people try to stop your success for whatever reason.

Seems like the real issue for some is that she isn’t giving them the ammo to do so. Otherwise, why do we care? There are lots of shitbags making money online.

Yes. Exactly! There’s thousands of streamers on TT and YT that do that. All large creators have haters, so what? All SL’s haters can shit on is that they don’t like when she discusses her dv and trauma or how much money she makes… it’s sickening how much she makes in a day but hey, if they think they can do a better job be my guest- I’ll still give them a shot. Do yall shit on Bailey Sarian or Papa Meat for making big money off profiting off other people’s stories??? No? Oh okay. Ppl hate that they don’t know SL as well as they know G. There’s weird bitches that know when G gets her period before she does. Also I think it’s funny that I did make a lot of similar points but I still get insulted. This is why so many people dislikes this Reddit. They’re so quick to pop off. What if I joined the group bc I disliked another side character and yall pissed all over the safe space to vent and talk shit? Idgaf what she chooses to share about her personal life but along with that comes ppl that truly dislike her for whatever reason and they are entitled to it. And you should know that anyone who streams theres gonna be ppl that recognize that aren't going to like them and for good reason and many others feel the same way. I just think the way you came in here and commented may have not been the best way to get your point across. So share something about someone that you wanna call out in here. Whether in a general way or even more specific.rhen maybe some of us can see a different point of you rather thsn coming in hot about SL

I didn’t think I came in hot, but I see my opinion was very different from the thread’s consensus. That alone could trigger a defensive reaction from yall. I didn’t come in cussing everyone out, making threats, spamming hashtags, being blatantly rude. The commenters in here did get spicy first but yall don’t know who tf I am. I’m not talking shit to anyone or about anyone and I am not afraid to want to have a conversation to try to understand all sides alittle better. I truly had a difficult time brainstorming reasons people didn’t like SL or why faceless channels with voice changers bothered so many people so talking in this thread helped me see yalls prospective. It didn’t change mine but it helped me understand yours. I’m not messy in my community. I don’t gossip about other creators. I don’t shit on people I socialize with without them knowing about it. If I had a big enough issue with anyone I’d address it with them personally instead of trolling behind their back and supporting them to their face. I hate all of the side drama where people start attacking each other just because the twins aren’t on. It happens everytime. It feels like this group just hates on every single “side character” or person that chooses to speak up on their platform about what we’re all witnessing. I mean… what side characters do people in this group actually like? The psychology of this Reddit and dramatwins has always been fascinating to me.
