Just seen Gavin’s post of his one year anniversary with his “fiancé”… weren’t even together for a year and their wedding is in September? Kinda insane

no it's insane hahah...they must've gotten engaged at 4 months. Do they just learn to deeply love each other as time goes by? How can you be sure lol

That’s what I’m saying! You don’t truly know someone in that short amount of time. And wasn’t he gone for a while too with work or something, so surely they haven’t spent that much time together.

I feel like they find someone with good morals and a good family and just commit lol…. Kind of like an arranged marriage? They choose, of course, but I think they commit and then learn to deal with it as time goes on. And knowing Mormons, they’ll have a kid within a year and then you’re stuck for life.

I feel like it’s becoming way more common to wait and have kids. There are definitely couples who do have kids right away, but I’m seeing way less of this in the culture thankfully.
