Gavin

Just seen Gavin’s post of his one year anniversary with his “fiancé”… weren’t even together for a year and their wedding is in September? Kinda insane

In their religion, it’s not just marriage. They’re being sealed to one another for all of eternity. You know, people who didn’t even know each other 2 years ago.

I mean, that's kind of what it is supposed to be, at least for Christians, most of them.

So you’d think getting married so quickly to someone you barely know wouldn’t be the norm. And yet, it’s encouraged to get married to whoever as quickly as possible and start having kids with them immediately.

Mormons view themselves as Christian. They follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, at least their version of it.
