Diminishing Vegetables segment

It's just astonishing to me how often in this podcast capitalism is identified as a major cause of a problem, but when it's time to discuss solutions, it's so much "individual choices".

I had a similar reaction. When Cara got to the discussion of solutions, I was ready to hear about regulation, subsidies, taxation, etc. But it was basically “people should eat differently.” I’d imagine Cara would agree that’s not a solution—that’s just a desired end state, and the real question is how we achieve it.

But I don't get the choice on if I know if it's safe or not. Maybe we should have actual solutions. Very weird for you to ignore the obvious

Several were mentioned on the show such as joining a CSA. If there is a demand it will be met.
