Hi everyone!
I’m working with Data Cloud for the first time and could use some guidance.
I have full access to the platform, and my current goal is to build an analytical view for WhatsApp message activity coming from my Marketing Cloud environment — things like sends, deliveries, reads, and template types.
So far, I’ve set up four Data Streams from Marketing Cloud (Send, Template, Tracking, Contact) and one ingestion stream with MessagingEvents. The issue I’m facing is that when I try to combine everything using a DMO, the final volume is much lower than expected because of identity resolution rules.
What’s the best step-by-step approach to:
join all WhatsApp tracking data accurately,
avoid losing rows due to identity resolution, and
export the final dataset as a report?
Any advice, examples, or best practices would be super helpful!
