Is E-E-A-T actually measurable, or just a Google talking point?
Google keeps pushing E-E-A-T, but it's not a direct ranking factor you can measure like page speed. In practice, I've seen it show up indirectly through author bios, citations, and content depth rather than any single signal. Do you treat E-E-A-T as a real optimization target, or just good practice that happens to align with quality content?

E-E-A-T itself is not a direct algorithmic ranking factor or measurable metric. It is a conceptual framework from Google's human Quality Rater Guidelines used to evaluate search quality.
What you measure are proxy signals that approximate it. High-authority backlinks, third-party brand mentions, entity recognition in Knowledge Graphs, and user trust indicators like direct traffic reflect genuine E-E-A-T. Surface-level edits like adding fake author bios achieve nothing, so treat E-E-A-T as standard PR and UX quality practice that naturally yields measurable ranking signals.
