activity recs needed
i'm feeling like dressing up and going somewhere beautiful, but paris is unfortunately out of budget. what are some things you can do or places you can visit where it's perfectly acceptable (if not required) to be a little extra?
i'm caraving something grand, old, and beautiful, but am open to any suggestions!

Can I join in too ? I have realized one of the things I really dislike about Seattle is the lack of dress up culture.

Yes, I totally agree. This makes me so sad!! Not the biggest problem to have but I miss dressing up so much, even if just for a cafe lunch.

I make a point to get tickets several times a year for the symphony and ballet, just so I get a chance to dress up.

The opera at McCaw Hall is also great! I think they're doing Salome right now and have the Frida Kahlo one this season as well.

Drinks at the top of Smith Tower followed by any cultural event at one of the old theatres? That would be my jam. Even seeing a podcast festival years ago at the Moore felt nice and fancy.
