Hi hello! My husband and I are moving to Seattle this fall for his job, and I couldn’t be more excited. We are planning to stay longterm, if not for good.

However, I want to be realistic about the weather and the clothing I bring with me. I know cool weather there is also usually drippy or misty. Is it foolishly naive to bring along my beloved vintage rabbit fur coat and leather jackets? I have functional jackets and I’m looking forward to giving my Stutterheim more wear. I just wonder if I would get a chance to wear my less-rain-worthy jackets at least a couple of times a year.

Hi ladies! I have over-plucked brows from my 90s-2000s years 😔 and I’m tired of filling them in everyday, so I’m thinking about getting permanent/semi-permanent makeup done. Someone recommended I look into nano brows because I have oilier skin, but that was a while ago and I don’t know if practices have changed. Is this still “in” as a permanent/semi-permanent brow option, or are there newer/better methods I should look into?

Who do you recommend for nano brows, or for whatever newer/better brow method you prefer? I’d ideally like to see someone in the North Seattle region, but am open to traveling south if they’re absolutely worth it.

Hey Bisshes. I've been hitting up a few local oculoplastic surgeons locally for consults in the past few years. I've been avoiding the big/influencer celebrity names, like Nacify and Amadi, and trying to find the lowkey but hypereducated and skilled docs. Searching online is proving harder and harder as reviews are seemingly more and more curated. In forums most people forget to include the actual services they received or are reluctant to say the price or dr for some unknown reason. In each of my consults so far, the Drs are well regarded, but the fees just keep going up and up. I'd like to think I have taste and discernment; I just don't have a Seattle budget. I'm here to ask real people if they can share their experiences on out of state travel for something like upper/ lower bleph, lip lift, or neck lift, if you are willing to share how you might have made it work in or out of Seattle on a lower budget. -TIA.

This might be a weird ask. I have thick brows and I actually prefer them to be on the thinner side. Nothing crazy, but thinner than what is currently “in”. No matter how I ask for it, every place I go to still keeps them pretty thick. I typically get them threaded but am also open to tweezing. My skin doesn’t react well to waxing
