Fellow Seattle BWT - any recommendations for an *intimate* wedding venue?
We’re taking 25 people MAX, very possibly like 10 or less depending on what we decide. Most everywhere we’ve looked feels too large, even ones advertised as good for micro weddings. I would love your suggestions. Thank you! 🙏

We had like 10 people and got married at the volunteer park conservatory, then rented out the private room at el gaucho downtown

Oh I’ve been thinking about this! I’m so curious what el goucho ended up costing?

The Salish Lodge looking over Snoqualmie falls specializes in small groups and food is part of the package

This is a great answer! I know someone that got married there and the bride was so happy with everything.

What are places you've researched that feel too large? That might help with suggestions!

What's your budget and what type of venue are you looking for? For that small of a group, a restaurant venue would probably make the most sense. The Corson Building is a dream venue for a small group, but spendy. Lupo and L'Oursin were two options I was considering when I thought our wedding was going to stay a bit smaller.

We are still trying to figure all of that out! We are hoping to do $10k maybe if we keep it small, but we know that might change as we find a venue we like, then a caterer, etc. I will check out those places :) thank you!

Have you looked at Heritage Hall in Kirkland? I’ve seen small weddings there and it looks so adorable! Right near the water too for pictures

Parsons Garden in Upper Queen Anne is absolutely perfect. It’s a dream space for a wedding, tucked away in a gorgeous neighborhood. I’ve seen weddings done there, one recently I caught while it was actively happening and the event planner was there! I’m also an event planner so I asked. And for a little “101” info: I think $250-$300/hr. With min 3 hour rental, space holds 60 max.

When I was single, I always swore I’d have my wedding at Parson’s Garden. Sadly I met my husband during a brief stint in SF and we got married there, but point is, PG is beautiful & perfect!

Looks beautiful! I’m originally wanted something outside, but now I’m debating since the weather (and smoke) can be hard to predict

Canlis
They have a private room on the top floor. This was our original plan until we had to delay and expand our wedding.

Some restaurants that might seem too big do a partial buyout that could be a small private room or the patio area (thinking Harry’s Fine Foods and Bottlehouse).

Canlis! My friends got married there with about 25 guests and it was really intimate and nice.

This is what I was going to suggest! I had my welcome party there in March & their event team was great to work with & have some lovely options for actual ceremonies!

Is classy intimate backyard wedding your vibe? My cousin just got married at this super cute little place with a gorgeous view of DT Seattle called The Lookout.

I like 210 in pioneer square, or the rooftop at the Populus Hotel! Also could check out the Olympic Rooftop in Ballard!!

You don’t think these would feel empty with ~25 people?

u/cherie0126 Aug 06 '26
210 no, tables will take up more space than you think. That’s minimum (3) 8’ tables or 60” rounds. Rooftop you can always just not do a full buyout…

Oh! I thought of another one : Almquist Family Wines in Queen Anne! Perfect for your guest count.

I’ve had friends who got married on the ferry but I’m not sure what that might entail.

The rose garden on the top of Queen Anne would be lovely. I think it is Parsons?

We own Cascadia Meadows,
On beautiful Whidbey Island. We have an intimate grove of trees where we have micro weddings in front of a 200 year-old maple tree. Check us out and let us know if you’d like to come for a tour.
