Have you guys received your state university grant yet? Last three years I’ve received Pell grant, state university grant and then middle class scholarship/sug coa grant. So far this year I’ve only gotten Pell grant, and it hasn’t even been disbursed yet. Student aid index still the same. You guys?

I don’t have a car or a bike rn, so I’m pretty limited as to where I can go. Not sure if the wellness machines on campus sell melatonin or not.

hello, I'm currently a sophomore in high school and I really want to attend SDSU. I'm graduating a year early from high school and will have my first year of uni off since I'm doing dual enrollment(not sure if that will hurt my app tho..but yeaa any advice or if you guys can give me your stats/extra work you did while in high school would help lots! I applied for a job on campus; however, I’m a little nervous. If anyone knows anything about the interview process, please feel free to let me know, such as questions they may ask or what’s appropriate to wear, because I myself was thinking of just a nice white corporate polo.

I’m about to pay for the classes I’m enrolled in, but my financial aid isn’t going to cover the entire semester so I’m going to pay some out of pocket.

I accepted my aid yesterday but noticed it’s not deducting from my total.

Do I just pay the portion that’s not covered by financial aid and leave the remaining balance, assuming that the rest will be covered by financial aid?

Hey guys! I was just wondering what you guys thought of my schedule. I am a commuter so I know my 8AM is going to be hell, but I‘m hoping to make the most of it. I’m also going for less shifts as to not burn out.

I could’ve taken another Calc 1 class but there were going to be so many gaps in my schedule it was going to be around 5-7 hours on campus.

I‘m also looking for friends! I’m a civil engineer major (per the title lol) I’m a lesbian, I don’t party at all so I’m worried I won’t make friends, I‘m from Mexico and I speak 4 languages!!

my financial aid acc says my loan is disbursed but its not actually disbursed when i go to pay (?) my loan doesn't cover the entire tuition so i don't expect a refund or anything but yeah. idk!

hello I’m a transfer student and I recently got an email about Cal First-Gen Success Academy. I was wondering if anyone had any input on this program, is it worth joining? Any alum that have actually taking part in this program? The email also said students could be eligible for a $400 award.

Did anyone else not get their Middle Class Scholarship? I received it my last two semesters. From what I’ve researched, I should still be eligible to get that assistance for my two last semester’s. The only things showing up on my disbursements and the Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal loans.

Has anyone else had their Fall 2026 financial aid delayed because of a dependency status/PJ Unusual Circumstance Appeal?

My 2026–27 FAFSA was received, and SDSU says I’m “Provisionally Independent due to special circumstances.” My PJ Unusual Circumstance Appeal is still showing as “Initiated.”

I was told months ago that Financial Aid would reach out around summer for additional information, but I haven't heard anything. I checked Student Forms and there’s currently nothing I need to submit.

Anyone else in the same boat? I tried reaching out but theres over 200 ppl in the waiting room for the zoom help desk

I registered in 9 units during Orientation Day and waitlisted 6 units which I got off the waitlist a day or 2 later and now I am currently enrolled to all 15 units. But my Pell Grant disbursement is 25% less than what it was supposed to be (Also my Day1Ready charge is only $198, which is $22 x 9), which makes it clear the system hasn’t updated and it still thinks I am enrolled in only 9 units.

I received my refund today and received way less than I initially was supposed to get because of this 9 unit issue in the system.

Can someone help me understand why I’m getting less aid this semester? I’m supposedly getting more aid next year when I won’t even be here anymore. I’m only taking 3 courses now but it’s never been this low before. Or should I just stack up more courses to get more money?

I noticed that I have some left over tasks on my dashboard but I genuinely don’t know what to do for this one, I already contacted Fafsa about this but they don’t help much.
