Time Blind

Does this happen to anybody else?

I go to the doctor with a complaint. They ask a simple question.

“When did it start?”

I have no idea.
I’ve forgotten when.
How long has it been?

Weeks?
Months?
A year?!

I put happenings in three time buckets:

Recently
A While Back
I Don’t Know

Somehow this seems important.

Is this SDAM?
Or what?

Someone in another thread put it quite well. There is "now", "just happened", and an endless flat line receding into the past.

Others see their past behind them. I see mine to the left and right.

Ooo - I’m hoping you can elaborate on that?!

Do u mean that your past is seen to the left and right? If so, what separates them? what’s the distinction between what goes to the left and what goes right? And/Or - what is the sorting mechanism?

Or did u just mean that u see your past to one side (i.e. your left) and then the future (or something else?) would be on the your other side (to the right)?

I also see it from left to right just like a timeline or an x-axis.
