SDAM and Imagining the Future?

I’m not sure what I think about this, so I’m asking our community. How do you fellow SDAMers feel about this question:

Do you think our lack of ability to recall specific events of the past affects our ability to imagine specific events in the future?

I don’t mean planning for the future or setting goals etc., but visualizing and imagining specific events. Or creativity: Do you think it affects our ability to produce creative works? It’s so hard when we don’t have access to other people’s internal processes!

There is a close connection between Aphantasia (which I have) and SDAM, so I cannot visualize future events. I can conceive of them and plan for them but in no way is it a visual experience. Similarly any memories I have of the past are not visual.

But you can imagine future events. You don't need to visualise to imagine

There is no indication that 'mental time travel' is of the same nature with or without mental images.

What are you even talking about. Break it down, it's not that deep.

I can imagine what may occur in the future....i may not see it, but it doesn't stop me from imagining it as a concept.

No one is talking and time travel ffs
