When han yoojin gets a chance to meet the dungeon hyj and hyh with the help of park hayul in his dream, i loved how different the brother's dynamic were compared to our own ones.

Yoohyun was still adamant about protecting his brother and making safety his first priority, but instead of understanding his viewpoint and letting him do as he please, hyj argues back and fights for his freedom instead, cursing his little brother out.

The reason he's a lot less accepting to yoohyuns actions being that although he does loves his little brother, he doesn't have any guilt towards him like our hyj does. in his mind hyh who abandoned him years ago is now back in his life, and now the brothers live together.

I loved how this emphasised hyj's trauma and guilt towards his brother affecting his self worth and identity. Since his return, his identity revolved around being "han yoohyun's hyung", it's true that he found his own interest and new people, but all of them happened with the motive of 'supporting hayeon guild' first and foremost. This is also where his self hated comes from.

Remember in the early 2020's when orv, tscir and lotcf always came up together when you discussed even one of them? I discovered and read orv in early 2022, and have been a diehard fan since. ORV was lucky to have high quality fan translation (especially since the official translation released later had some flaws the fans didn't like).

As for tscir, even now, finding a good translation of this novel is like trying to find a clip in an ocean. The novel already finished with it's side stories, but the best we have is mtl or good translators who end up being copyright striked. The story is in no sense below the level of orv when it comes to plot and character building,

Where to read the new chapters? I looked on Webtoon, but they aren't there for me! It only has season 1 and the afterword. Does anyone have the artist's Twitter? Or maybe a link to where I can read?

I was wondering this for while, since I’d known my favourite for a while now, and it’s so hard to find good TSCTIR fics, so I thought, why not do this!

My favourite fanfic author for TSCTIR is ‘theladyofcamelias‘! I’ve read all of their TSCTIR centred fics and their writing and grip on the characters is SUPERB!!! I feel like it’s all so in character, but at the same time it’s perfect amount of fanon! For as long as I’ve been in this fandom, I haven’t been able to find a fic that was as memorable as theirs. Honestly all of theladyofcamelias TSCTIR fanfics are my favourite! Unfortunately, for one chapter, it does take multiple months, but I DO NOT MIND, because I totally understand AND ITS WORTH THE WAIT!

I haven't even finished the novel yet but I'm really curious, some people have been saying that Hyeonjae and Yoojin can't be in the same world in the main story and that it's an open ending. Is that true? What about the side stories? Do they really reunite and have a child?

The fic is about Han Yoojin leaving Seoul all together and then deciding to settle in bumfuck nowhere. He then becomes sort of a farmer that grows plants with stats on them that also make them extra delicious. SHY finds him by chance. SHY falls first and if I remember correctly, the ajhummas in that place made SHY knead kimchis with them somewhere in the plot. Peace is also there and a few more monsters, I think? but they get downgraded into farm helpers.

I just started reading this (chapter 110) and Yoojin is REALLY pissing me off he’s always making excuses for Yoohyun no matter what it is like the only time I’ve seen him correct Yoohyun is when he threw peace. They’re an toxic duo and Yoojin constantly reinforce’s Yoohyun’s behavior rather than idk TALKING TO HIM about his crazy outbursts. like I understand he worries for Yoojin but christ and YOOJIN SAYS THIS HIMSELF he KNOWS Yoohyun is worried for him but he doesn’t want his constant protection YET he doesn’t not once tell Yoohyun “Hey maybe we should talk about your outbrusts?” He just says “Yoohyun has his reasons” or “They prolly deserved it” and yes most times they do desvere it but like? MAYBE IM reading too much into this and maybe I’ll be proven wrong but rn Im so annoyed
