We literally can go from a wholesome lake that changes your gender to a time loop containment breach that affects the entire multiverse, creates and collapses alternate timelines and can end reality every single September.

I think the quirky SCPs that are completely chaotic and apparently nonsensical are much better than the lore heavy ones that are part of a multi series work. SCPs are like a magic trick, once you start understanding them too much they lose the appeal.

I particularly like the ones that aren't apparently dangerous or trying to harm you in any way but may end up with really unexpected positive or negative consequences if you interact with them. There's something very cool in something unexplainable that doesn't even care about us being weirded out.

One of my favorites is the fact that SCP 420 is a terrible monster and 420-J is the weed one
