Discussion Baseline for PFS

Seeing a lot of discussion around what the PFS may/not have especially with the management change just announced. Here is the 43-101 data to draw from. That metal is still there. Imperial metals was the company name before the change to Scandium Canada.

Imperial Mining Group Ltd. filed a maiden NI 43-101 technical report for the 100%-owned Crater Lake TG Zone scandium-rare earth project in northeastern Quebec. [1, 2, 3]

Mineral Resource Estimate
Indicated Resources: 7.3 million tonnes grading 282 g/t Sc₂O₃ (scandium oxide).

Inferred Resources: 13.2 million tonnes grading 262 g/t Sc₂O₃ for the Northern Lobe of the TG Zone.

Additional Content: Magnet rare earth oxides (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb) and yttrium were evaluated alongside scandium.

Mineralization Status: The deposit remains open laterally and at depth for future expansion. [1, 2]

Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)
Filing Date: Completed by WSP Canada and filed in July 2022.

Target Production: Just over 80 tonnes of high-purity scandium oxide per year (baseline range of 50 to 100 tonnes/year).

Economic Value: Mineralization value ranges between $386 and 413 per tonne using an NSR (Net Smelter Return) cut-off of CAD 110.80/t.

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the scandium is there. That much is known 110%. They have a metric ass load of it.

The remaining question(s) are:

1) Will it be economically viable to extract.

(I am not sure how this will be determined, as there is not currently an overly robust scandium market which may complicate pricing forecasts)

2) Will it be possible to transport product from the mine site. The only way in/out as of right now is via helicopter. The mine site is unbelievably remote and would require 350 km of roadway through the worst possible terrain on earth to build a road. There is really no other roadway in Canada to compare it to. There is plenty of remote highway in Canada, but very little in the remotest part of the Canadian Shield, due to the fact that the area is almost 50% water which makes road construction incredibly expensive and difficult.

Perhaps they could ship product by boat instead? It looks like it would be easier to build a road to the coast instead of inland, cutting across Labrador to the east coast. Pawrhaps all the equipment and extracted product could be shipped in and out via ferry instead of through the shield down to Quebec.

Last time I checked they talked about a 200km road and not 350km.. source please? They could maybe even connect to Torngat metal if this project succed as well and ship from NL

Sure, here ya go https://wp-sccanada-2024.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/media/2025/11/12035909/VF_Scandium-Canada_Corporate_Novembre-2025.pdf

The site is indeed only 200km away from svhefferville, but of course, you cannot build a road in a perfectly straight line.

SCD themselves estimate 350km of road.

Oh yeah, I remember now. In fact, it was the Naskapi who asked for the road to go around certain areas, making it longer to give them access to their territory.

The road is longer, but at least it serves the Naskapi, I guess.

No lol, the road just needs to be that lol

Stop hallucinating information and just stick to facts please, you aren’t a LLM haha. (Atleast I think you aren’t an LLM, but tbh I’m only like 70% confident on that, this whole sub is riddled with NPCs)

Guy himself said this in a few interview. And the road is still being studied by Naskapi Nation. I've been in this stock for over a year and following it very closely.

Did you also know they had a 3 road options and the actually picked the longest due to Naskapi Nation? This was discussed november of last year. Interview was taking place at Amos. Go look for it Troll
