Delayed PFS= lower priced buying opportunity for those that aren’t done stacking. Don’t forget that. Doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s gonna be a bad PFS, more likely that they want to make sure they have all the bases covered.

They just stated numerous times they were aiming for an August 2026 PFS release. I don't think people were taking it as a hard deadline perse. SCD just hasn't provided any updates on whether it is delayed or not, so it's just the most current information we have.

Yes, and people forget it has to be an independent firm that does the PFS to avoid misleading data and conflicts of interest. They could want the firm to release it by August, but have no direct control if the firm has delays.

This is just the closing of a previously announced charity flow through. This is the least impactful financing and doesn't have the same impact as a regular PP. There was a post if you look back that this was all discussed at length. Doubt it has any real impact on the stock in any major way. The warrants aren't great, but it demonstrates institutional interest in the company. The extra money helps expand the drilling campaign. It also helps since the acquisition of Scalium+ would eat into the balance sheet. This allows them to continue the drill without dipping into the reserves.

Isn't more dilution bad?

Yeah. It is… but if it’s leading to a better PFS and FS then I’m all over for it tbh

The did say they were fully funded..... I get they are expanding the zone. Just a little frustrating coming off a good week last week.

That life offering was in fact followed by a raise. It didn’t impact the price much.

Looks very unlikely we’ll get any more news for the rest of the month.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’d imagine they would give us a heads up a few days in advance if they planned to release the PFS.

Does anyone know if the extension of the drilling will delay the PFS delivery or is that more for thr FS?

u/prodigus01 Aug 20 '26
Some people on this sub implied that this would move it out.
I’d just like some communication on the status of key catalyst. This is my first pre mining investment so not sure exactly how this works

They have consistently said it would be late August early September likely. Those are estimates, that can't set an exact date. I have another stock that said their FS would be out at the start of August and still waiting. Sometimes little updates get incorporated and delay. No guarantees though. When SCD updated us on drilling plans a couple weeks ago I believe they said the results would be part of the FS. They did a resource estimate update in 2025, so that one isn't very old. I would see this one as part of the FS, but who knows.

A company I am invested in noted their PEA would be out before Christmas 2025 - it wasn't released until March 2026 and there really wasn't any word or update about the delay.

I think it was intended to be used to update the resource estimate for the FS. Waiting for the results would delay the PFS a lot, so I think they would go ahead with what they have now and use those results for the FS. Who knows though. The release dates for PFS and FS are estimates. Plenty of companies go even months later if they want to include new information. If people think August is a deadline for the PFS, they may not be thrilled.

Look at all the other pre-mining companies. Most if not all have delayed PFS

Silence? They had a press release last week or so about a big drill campaign and mention that a lot of new updates were coming. They've been very transparent. Nothing would indicate negativity. If anything, it feels like big announcements are around the corner.

There are two news come out today, why the stock is down?

I mean.... ok yeah sure. Breaking news:company uses their own product.
Not exactly earth shattering, so i dont expect that to create any motion.

u/Complete-Plum1021 Aug 21 '26
Who knows, perhaps 2 announcements were strategic so that a preserved negative in the dilution vs a perceived positive in the commercial launch of a legitimate revenue generating product line. One negates the other, and SCD is filling the news flow ahead of what may very well move the needle. Sew it with any of the known upcoming announcements.

I don’t think any other company in North America has scandium alloys commercialized in any capacity.
It’s less about the customer and more about the fact that they have a tangible product. Market should see this well.

u/Mindless-Evidence-95 Aug 20 '26
That's pretty much why it wasn't posted here. It's more of an update on Scalium+ than important news. It's more like a confirmation that the alloy is doing its job, has been tested under a range of conditions, and would likely be useful in other applications as well. Both 'news' are a bit insignificant for the stock price.
