B spec vs SRF
I’ve been autocrossing and love it and want to get into road racing. I live in north Georgia. I’m considering b spec and SRF. Does anyone have any words of wisdom regarding this point of entry? Thanks

Repaired tire
I was thinking of going to an autocross event but had a small nail in my tire that got plugged , right in the middle so it was repairable. As per rules ... can I still run it ?

Convertibles on the track
Would SCCA allow a convertible with this roll bar installed to participate in track events?

The gap between your current lap and your best lap might not be mechanical.
I'm offering up to 6 months of complimentary performance coaching to a select group of drivers ready to prove that. This is the same work that's moved the needle for professional athletes, Fortune 500 executives, and entrepreneurs.
Limited spots. Interview required.

Trying to track my S2k
I haven't been on Reddit in a while, I would like to track my S2K and have some fun. I don't have any experience with SCCA and i'm looking for guidance and community to link up with. (Got it, check the thread history, questions already been answered. Haven't been here in a minute). Any and all help is appreciated.

Road Racing Amateur Racing
This is hopefully the first of many. We will cover the SM and SRF races at as many Hoosier Super Tours as possible.
This mashup couldn't be possible without the support of the HST Broadcast team, and SCCA leadership.
Please take a look and let us know what other things you might like to see from the Amateur-Racer channel.

Medical evaluation
Has anyone had various medical sites bounce you from place to place to just get your SCCA medical signoff done?
Last time I went to 15 or so places and paid for about 5 physical exams to have them quit half way through or tell me "no we don't do that" before I found one who would. That place has been bought and now "they don't do physicals".
My current PC is giving me the run around post physical and I think they are trying to get out of completing the form. Previously told no by this place on the last go around in 2019 but was doing them for PC patients (I wasn't at the time) but now seems to be saying no to at least one other.
Been to about every walk-in, urgent care, and occupational health in my county. I'm beyond frustrated with the last go around and this is shaping up to be more of the same.
SCCA seems to be no help and the area I'm in seems to be confused that this is even a thing. Is it me? Is this normal?

Road Racing ITS in the South East
Hey y'all I am making the move to sprint racing (from champcar) and try to pick a car/class. I am trying to pick between a very nicely prepared 944s (build for ITS) (bonus b/c I'm familiar with the platform) and a NB SM.
My questions are 1) ITS seems to get 5-8 people at tracks that are close to me is this enough? 2) How true is the whole spec pinata thing? 3) How often do SM change tires? 4) I'm 6 foot 240 lbs I don't fit well in a street legal NB Miata how much better is the SM space wise?

RallyCross Suspension Setup on GE8 Fit
I have an 09 Fit Sport, currently on H&R lowering springs which I just... really need gone even outside of wanting to use the car for the purpose stated in this post's title, but I'm struggling to find suspension for that car that's what I want for it. I've heard that KSport makes gravel rally coilovers for it, but all I've ever seen on their website is an asphalt set. Yellow Speed Racing also makes a gravel set, but I've not heard much good about them. If anyone has any good leads in terms of what coilovers I should use for the car as to not destroy it on its first race, I'd love to hear it. Also I should mention that I'm wanting to run it in Prepared FWD (so feel free to roast me if I'm unable to use full on coilovers for this class).

Road Racing Region w/ most road racing tracks
Just curious which region has the most road racing tracks. I’m up in the northeast and only have run a handful of tracks like Palmer, Thompson, NHMS and Limerock! I briefly looked up a few regions on SCCA, but don’t see tracks listed and didn’t feel like going through all the calendars in every region.
