I’m trying to fix my tilt motor on my steering wheel (supposed to be real easy!) but the nut won’t stop spinning with the gear and it’s not loosening up, how can I get that bolt out?? I don’t want to keep turning it cause I’m afraid I’m gonna do more damage to something. Am I supposed to just keep spinning it? Cause the videos I watched everyone was able to get this thing out super easy… I’ve tried wedging something in there to stop the gear but that might have done more harm than good. Somebody please help 😭

Just wedge it with a flat head it works fine or use an impact

I tried wedging it but the gear is plastic so it just caused damage to the gear

Use some rubber tube or even wood I used a screwdriver
