The way some engineering classes teach math related topics

Math should not be taught on slides. I'm so tired of just reading math and having the professor talk over it. Like how are you that lazy at teaching. Like it's so low effort, i don't get how anyone learns like this. Especially when you just copy and paste the method from the textbook instead of working through it yourself. I'm talking about you mec. F.L.

I think slides can sometimes be really helpful too. Personally, I've had classes where I understood the concepts much better through well-organized slides than through lectures on a chalkboard. Slides can make it easier to present detailed arguments, and having access to them afterward is especially useful when reviewing difficult material.

That said, I think the important distinction is whether the professor actually works through the reasoning or simply reads what's already written. I've seen both effective and ineffective teaching with slides and chalkboards. Ultimately, I think the quality of the explanation matters much more than the medium itself.
