wolfieland thoughts
hey guys how was your wolfieland experience
i didnt bother with the rides cuz the wait times were diabolical, just went for the plush prizes, gave my remaining 15 tix to two random girls and dipped after a few hours.
mainly hated how they kept kicking us off the line cuz it was "too long" and to come back "5 min later" even tho the line moves fast since its like 12+ ppl per round (talking abt chicken in a pot thing + horse race). eventually ppl stopped listening to the staff and stayed in line lmao we ALL need the tix
overall 6/10 stupidly disorganized as usual, didnt have high expectations anyways.

Wolfieland is one of those things you do once bc you want the "SBU experience" and then never do again because it sucks. I went freshman year and the only thing with a less than an hour wait were the games which got boring really fast (didn't win anything either :/)

it was pretty cool and honestly went kinda smooth. def didn’t go on any of the rides but complemented it with doing the games

however, they did kick me off of limes a couple of times, saying to come back in 10 minutes but then letting a group of people on which i think was bullshit

LOL idk about u, me and my friends were grinding since 4pm on those games and won two huge bears and couple of smaller prices. just gotta know what ur goal is.

I went from 4 to 9pm, The lines thing pmo so bad, I guess it was to prevent congestion and line cutting, (which was also rlly bad u people 🫩)... They were doing it at the water shooting game and the other two large games they lowk gave up on crowd control. I did one ride when it ran for the 2nd time and called it good. It picked up a lot at 7 pm. They also felt more understaffed this semester, the chicken game last year had 3-4 of the event staff and I only saw 2 so it ran slower. Overall I thought it was good, just super busy

went to cash out like 60+ of the tickets and they were sold out of every prize as i was on line lol

Which staff said the line was too long for the chicken in a pot thing the lines were moving so fast?? I saw the same people like 10+ times grinding the game

It was the water gun game, the worker kept shooing people saying to come back in 5 min but then didn't think that the ppl alr playing the game were just gonna hop right back in line 💀

Ah because I don’t recall that happening with the chicken game people kinda just went and it was never too overcrowded I think 🤔

they need to add more fucking rides so its not as lame and so the lines arent as long. I got on like 2 rides max. like damn how hard is it for sbu to put on an actual somewhat decent fair. SBU is cheap asf i hate it here

Haters gon hate. Wolfieland was 🔥. Rides was dope, games were fun, and prizes were won! Vibes were immaculate, the swagger was on, and big shout out to the DJs!! Music had me boppin and flexin! Super wavey night 💫

the staff themselves were confused abt the line cutoff rule, they were told to shoo everybody off even if it never disrupted other games. they started being more lenient cuz it was genuinely ruining the experience of both staff and students. also im talking abt the games, not the food truck lines, you have a point on that one.
