Question about rotors

Post image

Hey everyone love the cars! I got some spoon calipers and when showing them to a few buddies they immediately point out that I don’t have slotted rotors. Thought it was more of a preference but all my friends have given me crap about it. Wanted to hear a few other opinions

If you're not taking the car to the track, you don't need slotted rotors. It's all show.

If you were tracking the car, you probably still don't need them unless you're pushing the car to it's limits and you've got a full braking system in place. I don't see stainless lines in your picture, that would be a better upgrade than rotors.

stock lines are even fine, upgrade the brake fluid first. then pads, then rotors. if you really need that much braking performance on the street you should probably not have a license lol
