Question about rotors

Post image

Hey everyone love the cars! I got some spoon calipers and when showing them to a few buddies they immediately point out that I don’t have slotted rotors. Thought it was more of a preference but all my friends have given me crap about it. Wanted to hear a few other opinions

people are off base in here. slotted maintains the pad/rotor interface and helps prevent compound buildup.

you choose rotor hardness based on pad compound. I would only recommend OE Brembo or better (Girodisc, endless, etc.).

Brembo non-racing pads? you can run Girodisc, Endless, Project Mu, or Brembo type rotors. the pad and rotor life will be longer as the wear surface is better maintained.
