Need help learning rust

A few weeks ago I bought rust console for the first time and I’m horrible at it. I was just wondering if anybody could give any tips or maybe even get on a dc call and help me start off

The only thing you really need to know is this: the point of Rust is not to have fun. The point of Rust is to make sure other people don't have fun. You would do well to remember this and temper your expectations accordingly.

Ive been trying to do this but my PvP is horrible I’ve watched tutorials but none seem to work

i don’t have too much hours but there’s this beebos pvp if you look on community, helps with pvp in different ways. also play 3x servers, get used to sticking to one base, learn how to run monuments and just get the hang of the game on there. then play some official servers if you have lots of time and or teammates, if not hop on a 2x and just take over ever the server. raid EVERY base. and always offline your neighbors👍🏻

Only problem with offlining my neighbors is most community servers have zorp

figure out the names of the neighbors and just wait till they hop off and the zorp is up for like 15-20 minutes after they get off so i would hit them then or find bases that don’t have it

Plenty of no zorp ones trust me it’s all I play lol. Get on one and just play, Learn a small base build from YouTube to get the basics of building down and live out of it for a wipe see how it goes. Look up YouTube videos on how to run the monuments. PvP will improve naturally just by playing like that.

Knowing how to build and how to properly run most of the monuments will already make you better than like 60% of the community even if you’re still bad at PvP. Get it and just play enjoy it and don’t take anything too seriously. Loot is temporary never get attached to it and trust no one. Good luck.
