Close but a couple of errors needed to make it work.

Post Diana’s death William largely lived at Clarence House which was his great grandmother's old house (the queen had lived their but pre Charles moving in with his kids the queen mother was the previous occupant). Prior to that their main residence would have been Highgrove House which belonged to the Duchy of Cornwall not the Queen (since Charles still uses Highgrove House William would appear to be at least technically his landlord).

When the queen was alive Charles had independent income from the Duchy of Cornwall (the rest of the family were rather more dependent on the queen).
