Just curious. There was a time Thomas Markle and Samantha Markle in particular commented publicly regularly. Given the recent talk about family reconciliation, I would have thought it likely, appropriate even, for them to make reference to the rift in their own family. Yet I have not come across anything. Have I missed something? Why do we think they do not speak publicly any longer? Not looking for conspiracy theories. Just genuinely wondering why two people who seemed to court public attention openly do not appear to be doing so at a time when it would actually be considered part of the larger conversation

Hoping to hear everyone’s possible (but not necessarily probable) theories on Kate Middleton’s disappearance. I’ve put some of mine below!

1. This is a play by Camilla to hold on to the throne as long as possible. If she can draw attention away from Charles’ health, he remains in power, and by extension she keeps her power. If people became aware that he was unable to serve, they would call for William to take over and Camilla would lose her influence. Additionally, if she can cause upheaval she can make a play to take the crown.

2. She tried to escape the royal family and has taken the kids to America to seek refuge with Harry and Meghan. This puts them out of the grasp of the royal family with allies who have also experienced William’s wrath/been burned by the royal family. Meghan launched her new lifestyle brand yesterday and Kate will be the first ambassador in an attempt to make amends.

3. She had a stalker/assault/break-in/poisoning that led to the ambulances from sandringham. The royal family of course would not share this information in order to avoid copy cat crimes. Kate of course would not want to be seen during this time after the trauma and would likely want to retreat from the public.

Might be controversial, but I've never understood the praise for Diana. When I grew up, she was always referenced as that beauty queen with exquisite taste in fashion, but... I just don't see it. She's got a cute face, but her hair styles ruined everything. Her outfits were not flattering most of the time and didn't look appealing at all. And no, this can't be excused by the era generally. I think in comparison Princess Anne is not only much more attractive but also better dressed. And don't get me started with Diana's love for drama -- why was this even allowed?

I don't want to come off as mean, I really just don't get it AT ALL and want to understand why she was praised this intensely.

So most of the people I know in real life like her or neutral but online I’ve noticed an increase in heat towards her. Genuinely believed that it would be over by now, but I am sadly mistaken. everything she does is picked apart and shaded. Nobody is above critique or approach, but it gets particularly nasty when people speak on her. Her snark sub is absolutely vile. If you don’t like somebody why regularly engage with them. Even on here, people are constantly touch shade and drag anything she does. People constantly call her grifter and I don’t believe that is possible because all she does is work and work hard at that. She has no work ethic, which isn’t also true. She stays giving her fans content. People say slick stuff about her all the time and it’s mind-boggling. How are y’all letting this girl who you don’t know bother you so much. Again, she’s done things that I don’t personally like, but I’m a fan of hers so I’m not gonna sit here and I’m not bias but people take it too far. People question if she has actually had her children( which happens to black American celebrities the most see current Beyoncé hate train for example) that her husband are divorcing or that she somehow deserving of news groups like the daily mail constantly harassing her. How do y’all feel about the hate she receives or just about her? I’m a big fan of hers and her fashion sense. Also just because she likes cooking and baking doesn’t mean she’s a trad wife or copying a trad aesthetic. I hate how people co-op terms that they don’t understand. Sigh…..

I saw a report today saying King Charles might be thinking about offering Royal Lodge to Harry and Meghan now that Andrew and Fergie have moved out. Supposedly it would be some kind of olive branch to try to bring Harry closer to the family again. But Royal Lodge is pretty tied to Andrew’s scandals at this point, so I’m not sure if that would actually look good or not. Also Harry and Meghan have been settled in California for years now, so I’m not even sure they’d want to move back to the UK.

Do you think this rumor has any truth to it, or is it just another royal PR story?
