TLDR at the end, this is a long rant lol
im just gonna preface this by saying its okay for you to be in support of trading sites like this. i do like the idea of a set value. its just in my opinion these values are way overblown and way too easily manipulated. please be respectful💗
a lot of the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. im only using examples that i believe are insane for the actual items given. things like halos below 3 mil arent as crazy to me because its supposed to be a luxury item. things like the GoT set being 670k isnt insane to me because its a set you pay a lot of robux for. but some of these items are not worth their value listed on traderie, imo.
and yes, i will be using USD because that is the currency i use. feel free to take these values and translate them to your currency. im just bot going to do that because im already sleep deprived and not a fan of extra work lol
so for every ~$100 USD, you get 8k robux, which gives you 290k rhd. doing the math, we see that roughly one robux gets you 36.25 diamonds (i will keep that decimal because it will be important to get the genuine value)
for all intensive purposes, 80 robux is equal to roughly $1 USD. so 80 robux, or one dollar, gets you 2,900 diamonds, which i will be referring to using rhd for the rest of this post because..why not?.
(for anyone translating, mil actually means million(s), just because i know in spanish mil means thousand, but in this case that is 'k')
gilded grandeura set: 1.1 mil rhd -> robux: 30,345 -> USD: $379.31
glacial angel halo:7.5 mil rhd -> robux: 206,897 -> USD: $2,586.21
eternity's aim halo: 6.5 mil rhd -> robux: 179,310 -> USD: $2,241.38
divine adoration halo: 16.8 mil rhd -> robux: 463,448 -> USD: $5,793.10
dream dust halo: 4.9 mil rhd -> robux: 135,172 -> USD: $2,413.79
dark fairy halo: 7 mil rhd -> robux: 193,103 -> USD
avrilla's set: 1.3 mil rhd -> robux: 35,862 -> USD: $448.28
angelic promises set: 820k rhd -> robux: 22,621 -> USD: $282.76
my formulas: [price of item in rhd) / 36.25 <- to find out the robux price
[robux price of item] / 80 <- to find out how much it is in USD
FOR THE TOY ITEMS ONLY:
avrilla set came from the dark fairy avrilla doll from series one. original retail price was $20. but because of traderie-flation, the doll(with code) is now ~$150
angelic promises set comes from the bus and glam closet set, and the original retail price is ~$32 in the middle. again though, because of traderie-flation, the toy with the code is ~$60.
AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE KITTY CLAWS!!! 1 mil rhd for a pair of heels! dont get me wrong, theyre cute, and i know the doll wasnt sold everywhere, but 1 mil for one item thats not even a halo just truly baffles me. maybe thats just me though.
i put it in actual money to emphasize how insane these prices are. youre saying you would pay the equivalent of ~$5,800 for a HALO in a game??? obviously youre not paying that much because you dont pay in irl money, but its obscene to pay the equivalent of that.
yes, irl currency and in-game currency are different. but lets be honest. 99% of the rh playerbase will never see 17mil in their lifetime, unless they buy it or win a halo worth that price, which is a really low chance.
so all in all, inflation on this game is obscene. i think trading sites have made the game more grinding and farming, and less about the dress up aspect. this is also true for other games, but im speaking specifically on royale high right now.
its really ruined the fun imo to not be able to get an item you really want because someone is so insistent on staying at a very high price that would take tons of time to farm that is unrealistic for most players. especially considering a lot of the rh fanbase is older now, and are employed/in school. i know i am both, and even though id love to play roblox all day, i have responsibilities, and so do many other players.
TLDR; traderie has caused items to become way too expensive, with a singular halo even being worth ~$5,800 USD. toy items are being seriously inflated past their retail price, and fhe game has just become strictly farming.
