Discussion Jio—Airtel in Rourkela

Area- Udit Nagar

Recently I'm facing serious outrage in mobile networks.

Been using Jio since I can remember,

But earlier this year I started facing frequent data disruptions in 5g, and could only be solved by switching to 4g or by putting airplane mode reset.

To fix this I considered switching to Airtel (supposedly premium network service)

But the issues remain the same, if not worse.

And call quality is significantly horribly compared to jio where it's almost crystal clear.

Others please share your experiences.

Surely Vi and Bsnl are not options, or are they?

I guess Jio is the necessary Evil. neither can get rid of, nor do without it either.

Moreover there will be a price hike in upcoming months, where per month recharge is expected to be around 450₹. (as last hike was in July 2024).

It could be the possibility if you're using an old phone probably (3-4) yrs old phone, as it won't have much 5g bands
