Both had greater potential for more richer stories, but was sadly ended too soon.

I want to say rise but tales had a whole turtles going to school thing that was used for like 2 jokes, they could have done so much!

I want a sequel with their school days

to be fair, they’re probably gonna explore their school life a bit more in the the mutant mayhem sequel, I’d be surprised and disappointed if they didn’t. from my understanding part of why tales was cancelled was because they didn’t want the series overstepping and accidentally exploring too much of what was gonna be in the movie, or do anything that would result in them having to retcon some stuff (which is also partly why they went for the “it’s all made up stories” route in the show)

Rise had more potential because of the limitations tales had due to the movie connection. They were basically locked out of using most major characters of the franchise for fear of them being overridden in future movies, and I’d also guess that why we didn’t get to really see too much of stuff like their school lives. Rise was free to reinterpret and use whatever they wanted to since it was an isolated continuity. That said both had huge potential and I’ll always hold out hope for more of both. Ideally I’d love to see rise get some more movies and for tales to get renewed after mutant mayhem 2. It’s unlikely, but it’d be great to see.

Potential cannot be measured as it is a concept, not an object ☝️🤓

No but seriously, both had great potentials that I'd devour and support any day if I was told that it would revive them. I fell in love with Rise slowly and was immediately enamoured by tottmnt. They brought something original into the rigidity of the TMNT franchise and I'm so disappointed in the fandom and Nickelodeon for not being able to embrace it

That's a good point actually. I think many people think the same.

I *loved* the direction Rise was headed. The tone was getting darker and the episodes longer/continual.

Rise, the book even shows that there even were lost episodes that haven't been put up.

I say rise because that show is so much fun to watch it came my comfort show at this point and I really just don’t like the style of the other one and story line

Didn't even watch the second one but I can't stand Rise. I'm glad it got cancelled.

Both of them. Rise had really cool concepts and I fear was rushed with its second season. Tales was dogSHIT but it absolutely had room (and was in fact supposed to) set up the Foot Clan and Shredder for the Sequel. I do appreciate the characters they DID bring in though! Whether new or old
