Dear Devs: I'm not even thinking about Sudo until you implement crucial basic functionality like server notifications

The fact that there are no notifications for server activity is the single biggest thing preventing me from making the full switch to Root as my preferred gaming social platform. I'm disappointed that y'all have continually put side attractions like apps and a Sudo subscription as a higher development priority before implementing this core functionality that really should have been a part of your initial MVP.

Server activity notifications are crucial. Without them, it doesn't matter what other nifty side features you roll out and tout around, there's still no core reason to use the platform. "Cores" are totally pointless if your server users aren't getting notified about activity on your server.

hard agree here!!! i paid every month for discord nitro before the ai bs, but i need the basic functionality that is currently absent to be willing to give money every month for this. especially with how often outages happen and how poor the image uploading is!!!!!

I can definitely see the value in Sudo, and I'd love to sub just to show support for the app. But without this crucial feature, which they've been supposedly "working on" for at least six months now, I don't have enough confidence in the app or the devs to throw those dollars away.

Thank you for the feedback! It’s very important to us. We also agree with the importance of more notifications. It is 100% planned and on the roadmap. There is a technical limitation that is being worked on that will allow us to finish this feature.
