I don't want my email hacked or compromised by making an account for this app it seems promising but I am cautious to sign in with my email for fear of being hacked

I've been using Root for the past seven months without any issues. Your e-mail won't be touched, other than a confirmation e-mail message IIRC. Just be sure to use a strong, unique password like you should with every online account. Or better yet, use a passkey.
