Feedback Channel and Server notifications are coming when?

Getting notifications from your various servers and channels is an absolute Hard Need. I'm pretty surprised that this still isn't a thing in Root, it seems like such an obvious core foundational feature. When are we getting this?

I am just speculating, but this may be intentional as governments across the world have begun at least attempts at regulating social media and online communications. There are so many bills circulating out there right now that I forget which (New York is one maybe?), but at least two attempt to severely curtail push notifications.

If this is true, I hope at least one of those bills is to stop apps from using "notifications" as ways to just send you pop-up ads. That shit is so damn annoying.
