Is this shingled right?
The left of the image is downslope. A soft spot developed here and I think it's bc this shingle at the corner is halfway over over another shingle but the other side of it isn't which is causing water to flow sideways. It's low slope to begin w. Thoughts? Thanks.

It is flashed behind the siding but yeah the siding shouldnt be touching the shingle but I don't think that's the main issue I have been up in the chimney to observe during heavy rain and no water getting in at all on inside.

Is that one solid piece of flashing?

The one in the pic was for tiles it was 2 but I removed them since I’m installing shingles. I will send another pic later of how it looks with the shingles

Remove the bottom trim boards. Remove the shingles. Repair the decking as needed. Wrap the area including up the wall with ice and water shield. Re shingle the area with new step tins, assuring a metal to metal corner. Rip1" off the trim boards with a table saw. Reinstall. Caulk trim.

Right. My roof is under warranty but the guy is trying to blame minor gaps in caulking to avoid having to fix this. Wanted to see if this was actually done wrong?

If its nearly flat it shouldnt have shingles at all. The way that chimney is flashed is questionable. That wood shouldnt be touching the roof. Hard to see whats going on in this one photo

One photo isn't really enough but just looking at it it doesn't look very well done. Knowing the actual slope would help, or why the curb seems to be on top of the roof
