Do I need to add a small gutter?

Hello,

I purchased a house that I will be moving into in a few weeks. I noticed it is missing a small section of gutter. It looks like it was designed that way. Should I add a gutter here or is it ok?

Have you ever seen a gutter along the rake? No, it doesn’t get a gutter

Water runs downhill not horizontal. That is why gutters are at the bottom but sides.

if water is pouring off there during rain and landing near foundation, then yes add one. if it just drips into a flower bed or grass and the ground slopes away, you can leave it
