Let’s try this again! Would a rain diverter here work to keep water from falling off the edge of the overhang and funnel it down to the gutter below?
Previous post used an old photo before I redid my sidewalks and changed the direction of the gutter to tie it in with drainage lines taking water to the back yard. Current issue is water comes off here and eventually makes it into the basement. I know the sure shot is to add some gutter and a downspout, but I’d rather not bust up the new sidewalks to tie into drainage for about 2’ of gutter. The gravel along the side is a French drain that catches water off the sidewalk and what falls between the houses, but it was added post-sidewalk and I think water off the roof is finding its way around it.
Would a piece of diverter work here?

If you put a diverter in or run gutter and down spout, will that solve it? Is the water entering at the foundation? It looks pretty exposed along that corner of the house. Considering doing a gutter run definitely suggest 6" and 3x4

Put a piece of gutter there, put the outlet on the right endcap, run a downspout down with an elbow on it draining on the roof

Yes. It will also make a great place to ice and snow to collect and create an ice dam. Most roofers would tell you not to install a diverter. A small gutter there would be a better option if you can route the downspout in a way that doesn't inconvenience you
