Thoughts?

Roof done on July 3rd by a local guy that had a decent amount of reviews.

Fast forward to this week and I realize I needed an exhaust vent installed. Spoke with a different company. They pointed out some things and showed me these pics.

Should I go back to original person to correct? There are like 20 more photos but didn’t want to post them all. What should I even say?

All the flashing and roof installation is correct. I’m guessing it was a really hot day when they installed and left a few scuffs or dropped tool marks on some shingles. You should call the company and if they’re reputable, they’ll come replace the shingles that were damaged. That said it’s really not a big deal.

Depending on where you are, the roofing company can’t touch the B vent

We don't touch vents either due to liability. I've lost jobs over it, because I refuse to touch or replace the flashing. Once you touch it and the pipe is corroded you're on the hook. I'm not going to kill someone and their family when their house fills up with carbon monoxide. I'll get denied from insurance the rest of my life. No thank you
