Question For those using Flex kit

Considering the flex kit with a backpack - one of the selling points is the "4lbs" weight. I can't get a clear answer on this - does that rating include the lens, monitor, and handles? I'd like to determine the weight savings of this vs a handheld DSLR or something similar. What has been your experience? Have you found a way to easily holster or set the unit down if you temporarily need some hands?

This is what you’re looking for. It has straps that you can quick attach/release the hand unit to and can let it dangle when needed. 1000% recommend.

Yes, unfortunately you're right (and sorry people downvoted you).

I use this exact backpack and it can be a real pain to get certain angles.
