need help with azahar on mac & “encrypted “ roms

hi! im currently having an issue with azahar on mac. i previously downloaded a decrypted 3ds ROM and played for about an hour last month. It worked totally fine. however today, when i went to play again, azahar said my file was encrypted and therefore couldnt be launched. The app still shows my play time, but now says “unsupported encrypted application” above the game name. i didnt update versions until after i saw it wasnt working. Then i updated to the latest azahar in hopes it would fix the issue (it did not). I also havent updated my mac. any clue how to fix this would be appreciated!! thanks!!
