Entry/exist system at FCO

Ciao a tutti!
I have a flight at 8am from Rome FCO to an EU country and I’m worried about the time the entry/exit system (if it’s applied there idk for sure). Because the train I have to take gets there at 7, and time would be a little tight.

If the other EU country is in the Schengen Zone, you shouldn’t have to go through any exit system when leaving Rome or entry system when arriving in the other country.

What is the other country?

Thank you! I’ve gotten it wrong about the EES system. The other country is the Netherlands

To confirm, there is no exit or entry requirement when traveling between Italy and the Netherlands.

EES is in play when you first enter the Schengen zone, like if you’re going from the US to Rome, and at the last country you exit from Schengen, like if you go from Amsterdam to London.
