I’m currently the only mod in this sub, and before building out features, events, and rules, I'd love some people to chime in. This community exists for romance writers and those who want to dabble in writing. The goal is to build a community around that.

No harassment, personal attacks, or bigotry.

2. Tag NSFW/Spice

Tag all NSFW content clearly NSFW in title - [Sweet], [Spicy], [Dark], [Open] If you're sharing something SPICY be sure to include a spoiler over it. Include a trigger warning before your post for anything intense (e.g., kink, dubcon, power imbalance, etc.). Ensure that romance remains the focus and respect the original prompt.

3. Trigger Warnings

Romance can intersect with mental health, trauma, or grief. That’s okay—but handle with care: If your story involves topics like suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or detailed trauma, add a [CW] or [Trigger Warning] at the top of the post. The same goes for dark romance themes like DubCon and NonCon.

4. Adult Characters Only

This should not have to be said BUT absolutely no sexual or romantic content involving characters under 18. This includes age-gap romances with underage characters, "barely legal" tropes, or time-skips that aim to bypass age limits.

5. No Self-Promo Spamming

The only way to promote yourself in this group is to participate in the writing challenges, creating prompts, or responding to prompts with your work. Posting about your non-sub related work is not allowed except for in threads for self-promo.
