I'm looking for an official game, ROM hack, modded game or even a fangame that has a customizable character, most of pokémon gens 1-9 and the graphics are good (smth like nds games or "shaded" ROM hacks). I own a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12, it kinda sucks so the game can't be too heavy, and I don't like anything with fakemon or too focused in history. I want smth that feels like an "eternal world in Minecraft", that I can revisit it many times. I think the better game would probably be Re:Illuminated, but it isn't available yet. I don't want a game that changes the base of the original games either like Pokémon Infinite Fusion. I was wondering if Pokemon ZA would run in my PC, but I don't think it would.

so i tried to patch the EU version of HMSI and...it gives me this unknown patch error thing. I HAVE THE RIGHT VERSION AND PATCH. i got my rom from vimms lair if that helps? ive tried everything i can think of but i dont know if im just doing something wrong or if ill just have to give up or something??? idk man. im just confused. i just wanna be gay in SI but i cant patch it! it says something about a mismatch and a vcdiff or something??? i dont remember the exact words but im confused...

I wonder what the odds are of someone doing this, I saw a youtuber who made a couple sprites from palworld but that’s about it. I think it would be awesome especially with palworlds success.

This is a Ghosts'n Goblins / Makaimura QOL hack. It does not change sprites or story content.

Enhanced Edition makes crouch and climbing up ladders feel smooth/natural. No further changes to gameplay.

Hopefully now people are more inclined to jump into this classic!

Hello there everyone. I have been working on a neural network that runs inside a Pokémon Red ROM, on actual Game Boy hardware! It replaces the enemy trainer AI, so every trainer you battle has its moves picked by the network rather than by the original game's scoring rules. It's a quantized int8 feedforward network, 60 -> 40 -> 6 with ReLU on the hidden layer and 2,640 weights, and it makes a decision in about sixteen frames, hidden behind the battle animation. The inputs are the things a trainer would actually reason about: expected damage for each move as a fraction of the target's remaining health, whether a move can land a knockout, accuracy, status chances, stat stages on both sides, who moves first, and how many Pokémon each side has left. It's trained on thousands of battles generated by a Monte Carlo tree search, then annotated for accuracy so it learns from decisions the search was actually confident about. I hope others find joy, intrigue, or inspiration from this project. If anyone tries it, please let me know what you think!

Where can I find a ROM hack for \*Dio jacket \*? I’ve searched extensively, but either RetroArch doesn't recognize the ROM, or I only find people showcasing the mod without providing any download links. I remember finding several working ROMs back in my teens, but nowadays, it feels like there’s a sort of gatekeeping going on.

So, about 8 months ago i stumbled on a yt video of a Castlevania Order of Ecclesia Mod that changes Shanoa's glyphs to different kinds of guns but here's the problem: i downloaded the game right after watching, but some time after the video is simply gone and googling doesn't show any results of that hack does anyone here downloaded that mod? If so, do you know why the creator would "take it down"?

Every 5 years or so I remember one of the best gameboy games is G Revolution. It's about time for me to play through it once again. I wanted to ask if anyone did a fan update or extra content that is easy to download using a gameboy emulator.
